Research the cheer market and create a trend board to showcase inspiration for my collection. Design a custom cheerleading collection that consists of 1 uniform and 1 practice wear outfit. And incorporate colorway, prints and artwork that supports the trend research.
How
To develop this project, I began by conducting market research using WGSN trend forecasts and the company’s own lookbook to identify key directions within the cheerleading apparel industry. I created a trend board that highlighted emerging influences in color and emphasizing bold performance-driven aesthetics alongside lifestyle crossover appeal. This process allowed me to balance market relevance with creative differentiation, ensuring the designs are both aspirational and commercially viable.
