Hi, I'm Joey Wang, also known as Yenchiao Wang.
“Joey can see things others don’t.” — this is the feedback I most often hear from people I’ve worked with. I’m a detail-oriented designer with cross-cultural experience, having collaborated in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.

I began exploring art and design at the age of five. Alongside design, I have a strong passion for sports and outdoor activities, which often influence my creative work. Many of my designs reflect themes of athletic performance or environmental awareness. I also believe in the healing power of art and design — some of my work has been displayed free of charge in companies and charities in my home country, Taiwan, as a way of sharing creativity with the community.

In 2024, I completed my Master’s degree in Sports Product Management at the University of Oregon. I have also been admitted to the PhD program in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design at Iowa State University. My enrollment has been deferred to Fall 2026, during which I am continuing to advance my research and professional practice in user-centered design, inclusive design, and the integration of UX methodologies. My doctoral focus is: “Advancing Adaptive Athletic Wear through Modular Design and Sustainable Materials.”
